Ingraham: Kanye Became 'Catalyst for Honest Discussion About Coerced Conformity of Thought'
Laura Ingraham reacted to Kanye West making waves in the entertainment world by praising President Donald Trump and conservative activist Candace Owens.
"The entertainment elites are in total freakout mode," she said. "Kanye West announced that he's thinking for himself."
Ingraham said that at least a half-dozen major music artists un-followed West on social media in protest of his praises.
She blasted others on the left like news anchor Chris Cuomo, brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), for claiming West is - like Trump - a "celebrity desperate for attention."
Comedy Central host Trevor Noah said West may have "realized he's too rich not to be a Republican."
"West has cracked open the door on the glaring hypocrisy of the left," Ingraham said, adding that he has become "a catalyst for honest discussion about coerced conformity of thought."
She said that "original thoughts" will not be tolerated by the same Hollywood crowd that claims themselves to be "tolerant."
