Tucker's Advice to GOP for Midterms: Focus on 'Insane' Dem Policies, Not Hillary


Fox News Channel is launching the America’s Election Headquarters 2018 midterm election series, which kicks off on Tuesday, May 1st with a West Virginia GOP Senate primary debate.

Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum will moderate the event at the Metropolitan Theatre in Morgantown, West Virginia, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. ET.

The three candidates who reached a threshold of 10 percent in a Fox News poll and will participate in the debate are U.S. Rep. Evan Jenkins, the state’s Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and businessman Don Blankenship.

In the poll, Jenkins garnered 25 percent among West Virginia likely GOP Senate primary voters, while Morrisey received 21 percent and Blankenship took third with 16 percent. 

The series continues on Thursday, June 28, when Fox News Channel will partner with the Florida GOP to host a Republican gubernatorial primary debate in Orlando. Baier and MacCallum will moderate the event live from the Gaylord Palms Resort in front of a live audience. Candidate entry will be based on state polling.

Ahead of each of the debates, Fox News Channel will feature 30-minute editions of "Special Report" where Baier will inform viewers of the latest news pertaining to each debate. After the event, at 7:30 p.m. ET, MacCallum will break down the news from each debate with top newsmakers and analysts during abbreviated versions of "The Story."
