Benson: It's Time for a Report From Mueller So the Country Can 'Move On'
Fox News contributor Guy Benson said Friday that after a year of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, it's fair to publish its results so the country can move forward.
Benson said on "America's Newsroom" that he's supported Mueller's probe from the beginning and respects Mueller's integrity, but also said it's time to "reach some conclusions."
"It's fair to say -- at some point, after a year -- let's publish the results, let's reach some conclusions, let's let the chips fall where they may and let's move on," he said.
President Trump has been told previously that he is not a target of Mueller's investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
He was also told by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that he is not a target of the investigation into his personal attorney, Michael Cohen.
The president on Thursday asked if the "witch hunt" would continue, after former FBI director James Comey's memos were made public and seemed to show no collusion by Trump in any way.
James Comey Memos just out and show clearly that there was NO COLLUSION and NO OBSTRUCTION. Also, he leaked classified information. WOW! Will the Witch Hunt continue?

Benson said that having the investigation "drag on forever, open-endedly" seems to be "unreasonable."
