Mark Steyn predicted that if NASA's 1969 moon landing was occurring at the same time as news about Stormy Daniels, the media would break away to cover Daniels.

Steyn said the media were gleeful at the news that the Mueller team helped trigger an FBI raid on Trump attorney Michael Cohen's office and home.

He said the raid likely was connected to Cohen's $130,000 payment to Daniels as part of a non-disclosure agreement.

Steyn said that, after seeing the new film "Chappaquiddick," he was reminded that Sen. Edward Kennedy's (D-Mass.) father, Joe Kennedy, sent in "fixers" to help cover for his son.

The Kennedys were relieved that the moon landing was about to occur around the same time as the crash that killed Mary Jo Kopechne, Steyn said, adding that the media would cover the lunar achievement over the death in Massachusetts.

In that way, Steyn said that today's media would do the opposite, and cover a development in the case of a pornographic actress and an alleged affair over one of America's crowning national achievements.
