Judge Nap on Seychelles Meeting: Another 'Rabbit Hole' That Mueller Must Go Down

Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said Tuesday that the fact that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe has continued as long as it has is "very unfair" to the president and his administration.

Lewandowski also said Trump should take written questions from Mueller in an interview and respond the same way.

"I think it's very unfair to this administration that the Mueller team has been able to continue the investigation with no finite end date," Lewandowski said. "You can't just have a special counsel run in perpetuity with no closing date."

The president has recently taken to Twitter to call out Mueller over the probe, saying that it "was based on fraudulent activities."

"There is no collusion so end the investigation. You don't just get a blank check to go and investigate anything you want when it has nothing to do with what your mission was for," Lewandowski said.
