Trey Gowdy to Trump Lawyer: 'If POTUS Is Innocent, Act Like It'
"Roseanne" star John Goodman embraced the part of a perceptibly liberated Rex Tillerson on the latest installment of "Saturday Night Live."
Goodman, a Missouri native, emulated the former secretary of state's Texas drawl as he was interviewed by Alex Moffat's Anderson Cooper.
Goodman's Tillerson said his role as secretary of state "just wasn't a good fit."
When asked how he felt about being apparently "fired by a tweet" from Trump, 'Tillerson' appeared to grimace and tense up - shattering his water glass mid-sentence.

"It's just crazy how one day you're the CEO of Exxon - a $50 billion company - and the next day you're fired by a man who used to sell steaks in the mail," he said.
'Cooper' then introduced controversial author Michael Wolff - played by Fred Armisen - and Anthony Scaramucci - played by "SNL" alum Bill Hader.

While in discussion with the two, Goodman's Tillerson shouted "Trump's a moron" from off-camera.
"Sorry, I just blurted that one out," he said. "Call Jurassic Park because the Rex-y is loose!"
