ICE Director Hits Back at California Dems: 'I'm Enforcing Laws That They Enacted'

Man Whose Son Was Killed by Illegal Immigrant Fights CA Sanctuary Law

The mayor of Oakland, California, is under fire after she warned illegal immigrants that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could soon be conducting raids in the area.

Libby Schaaf (D) shared the warning — which she said she “learned from multiple credible sources” — in a press release on Saturday, later claiming it was her "ethical obligation" to share the information.

On "Fox & Friends" on Monday, the father of a man killed by an illegal immigrant said Schaaf should be charged with obstruction of justice.

Don Rosenberg's son, Drew Rosenberg, was on his motorcycle in San Francisco in 2010 when a man who was in the U.S. illegally struck and killed him, running over his body several times in an apparent attempt to flee the scene.

Roberto Galo, a Honduran national, was convicted of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, sentenced to six months in jail and was ultimately deported in 2013.

Rosenberg said Schaaf's priorities are "screwed up," as she's more concerned with protecting illegal immigrant criminals than American citizens.

He pointed out that ICE raids target specific individuals who have committed crimes other than being in the U.S. illegally, so for Schaaf to claim that she's somehow making her city safer is outrageous and irresponsible.

"I'd like to see the DOJ go after her, along with other people," Rosenberg said. "They should be going after her right now."
