Eric Trump: US Olympian Gus Kenworthy's Insult Toward Ivanka Was 'Disgusting'
Eric Trump blasted U.S. Olympian Gus Kenworthy for a "gross" and "disgusting" insult toward his sister, who attended the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Games.
The skier, who was 12th in the slopestyle final last week, questioned why White House adviser Ivanka Trump, President Trump's daughter, was there in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
“So proud of all these people! Everybody here has worked so hard to make it to the Olympics and have the opportunity to walk in the closing ceremony! Well… Everyone except Ivanka. Honestly, tf is she doing here??” he wrote.

Speaking on "Fox & Friends," Eric Trump took issue with Kenworthy making a divisive political statement during what is supposed to be a "time of happiness" for the country.
"I think it's disgusting. ... That's not what the Olympics is about. Politics should not enter into the Olympics," he said.
And that’s a wrap! I return to the US after an incredible few days at the #WinterOlympics deeply proud of our #TeamUSA athletes and excited to have witnessed American dreams become new records and historic achievements at #PyeongChang2018. pic.twitter.com/fsOohpT0GS

Trump asked what the reaction would have been if Malia and Sasha Obama had been criticized like this for simply attending the Olympics.
"It should bother us as a society," he said, praising his older sister for being an "unbelievable representative" of the United States and a role model to others.
