Sean Hannity, media reporter Joe Concha and author David Brody reacted to the "fawning" coverage the North Korean delegation received at the Pyeongchang Olympic Games, compared to the "trashing" of Vice President Mike Pence.

Hannity pointed out some talk show hosts like Sunny Hostin on "The View" ripped Pence for appearing to protest the presence of the dictator Kim Jong Un's sister, Kim Yo Jong, and North Korea's ceremonial head of state, Kim Yong Nam.

Hostin said that Pence should have remembered how he said it is improper to protest at sporting events before choosing to remain seated while the North and South stood to welcome their team.

Concha said many of the headlines were complimentary of Kim Yo Jong.

He said that while the press appeared to be largely disapproving of Pence while reporting positively on the younger Kim, critical reaction on social media was fierce.

Concha said much of the reaction compared what 2018 headlines would look like at the 1936 games in Nazi-controlled Germany.

Using the example of a New York Times headline saying Kim was "taking Pence's spotlight," Concha said it would have been "Eva Braun Steals Spotlight at Munich Olympics."

Braun was the longtime partner of Adolf Hitler. She married him hours before the two committed suicide in April 1945.
