'Angel Mom' Calls Out McCain, Flake, Dems: Get Rid of Criminal Aliens & Protect Americans
The mother of a law enforcement officer killed by an illegal immigrant drunk driver in 2014 spoke out on "The Ingraham Angle."
Mary Ann Mendoza said she is extremely disappointed in both Republican senators from Arizona, saying their position on illegal immigration leaves her with questions.
Mendoza said Jeff Flake and John McCain had data showing the crime rate among illegal immigrants, referenced by Laura Ingraham, but have yet refused to substantively act on it.
Mary Ann Mendoza: "I put a message out to the politicians, @NancyPelosi, @SenSchumer: which child of yours would you look in the eye and decide that they're the [one] who you would give up to an illegal alien criminal to support the agenda that you're supporting?" @IngrahamAngle pic.twitter.com/gCr4QctIC1

She slammed the latest immigration reform plan from McCain and Delaware Democrat Sen. Chris Coons, which lacked funding for a border wall and gave amnesty to millions.
"The illegal alien problem cannot be fixed until they start at the beginning and get rid of the criminals and secure our borders. ... You can't fix DACA and Dreamers without having a handle on all the criminals in our country. You have to get rid of them and you have to protect Americans," she said.
Mendoza called out Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer specifically, asking, "Which child of yours would you look in the eye and decide they're the [one] you would give up to an illegal alien criminal?"
Of those who say illegal immigrants come to America for a "better life," Mendoza said that "a lot of these people who kill are children who came here for a better life and something happened."
"Politicians in Washington are the very ones giving this monster a voice," she said of Raul Corona-Silva, an illegal immigrant who drove 30 miles the wrong way on several Arizona highways before slamming head on into Sgt. Brandon Mendoza.
Corona-Silva, originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, was living in the United States illegally for decades and working "off-the-books" as a gardener, according to Judicial Watch. He died at the scene of the crash.
