Gutfeld on CNN's 'MLK Was a Socialist' Tweet: 'A Perfect Snapshot of the Left'
Greg Gutfeld reacted to a CNN tweet dubbing the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a "socialist before it was cool."
- He's an environmental hero
- He was a socialist before it was cool
- He never let a political disagreement turn nasty

Gutfeld said the notion that the Soviet Union's economic system was "cool" is a "perfect snapshot of the left."
"What a perfect distillation of the adolescent mindset in today's media and in Hollywood," he said.
Gutfeld said that, while the stock market routinely reaches new heights, many young liberals continue to yearn for "the most discredited economic system ever."
He said that economics and solvency don't matter to those that agree with the tweet: "it's all about being cool."
Gutfeld said it is more proof that the Democratic Party has "purged" its moderates, leaving Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as its de facto progressive figurehead.
He suggested the party change its name to the "American Socialist Party" - "take them at their words."
