Laura Ingraham said President Donald Trump's meeting with legislators discredited "Fire and Fury" author Michael Wolff's narrative that the president is unfit for office.

Ingraham said Trump was "clearly in command" of the meeting, where bipartisan legislators discussed DACA and immigration reform policy.

She said the meeting made "petty gutter-dweller author Michael Wolff become even smaller."

Ingraham said Wolff attempted to muddy the legitimacy of Trump's ability to govern.

Instead, the meeting showed that Trump is "smart, savvy and really impatient for solutions," Ingraham said.

She also criticized liberals in the media who have questioned Trump's abilities.

Ingraham then played a clip of MSNBC host Joe Scarborough ripping Trump over his then-proposed travel ban.

The former Florida Republican congressman-turned-commentator said a description of Trump as a "race-baiting xenophobic bigot" was correct.

Ingraham remarked that Scarborough’s comment – and claim that he supported moderate Republican Jeb Bush -- showed he was out of touch with middle America.
