Jesse Watters read text messages he has received during "The Five" from his mom.

Watters said his mother politically differs from him, billing her as "part of the Resistance."

Mrs. Watters recently asked if her son had been dying his eyebrows during one program.

In another message, she asked Jesse to be more respectful toward Juan Williams, with whom he often disagrees.

"We need to be worried about the stability of the Republic," Mrs. Watters wrote in another message, later warning against her son "throwing his hat in" with Vladimir Putin.

Mrs. Watters also asked Jesse to reconsider why he would admit on-air that he does not recycle.
