UK Tube Station Reopens After Police Called to Report of 'Incident'
British law enforcement was called to an incident in a busy Black Friday shopping area Friday afternoon local time.
Officers were called to Oxford Circus tube station following reports of gunfire on the westbound central line.
The tube station has since reopened.
People in the station evacuated up to Regent Street, prompting numerous emergency phone calls reporting gunfire, Dagen McDowell reported.
Officers on-scene responded, and followed procedures as if the incident was a terror attack.
Officials were later examining the circumstances of the situation, but no "trace of suspects, evidence of shots fired or casualties" was found, according to authorities.
One woman sustained a minor injury in the evacuation.
