'Outnumbered' Hosts Debate Steve Bannon's War on Mitch McConnell

In his monologue, Greg Gutfeld said former President Jimmy Carter gave a "reasonable" analysis of Donald Trump's presidency.

Carter, 93, said the media has been more brutal to Trump than any president in his memory.

"You've got to give Jimmy credit for saying what will tick off the strident hordes in his own party," Gutfeld said of the Georgia Democrat.

"Even Carter admits Trump's actions may lead to progress on immigration," he said.

Gutfeld said Carter is a "reasonable" voice in the debate over the success of Trump's presidency thus far.

"J.C. is saying not what his pals want to hear, but what America should hear - that Trump may not have been your choice for president, but he's your president," he said.
