Elementary School Drops Halloween Because It's 'Not Inclusive,' Replaces It With 'Black & Orange Day'

Rachel Campos-Duffy said it is a shame all fun events get ruined by liberals.

The Fox News contributor commented on the decision of a Massachusetts elementary school to cancel its Halloween parade, saying the event is not inclusive to all students.

"Liberals, they take the fun out of everything, scouting, Halloween, Christmas, football," she said.

Boyden Elementary School will celebrate "Black and Orange Spirit Day" instead. Students can wear black and orange but no costumes.

“Put a costume on. Parade down the street. Let them have their little time,” one parent told CBS Boston. “Why do you have to turn it into something political?”

Instead of having the school cancel Halloween, parents who don't like the traditions can keep their kids home instead of ruining it for everyone, Campos-Duffy said.

"I don't think liberals are going to be happy until they tear down every institution, tradition, and fun in our country. It would be a sad, joyless world if they ran it," she said.
