Fox Sports 1 analyst Jason Whitlock said NFL players who kneel for the national anthem in protest of racial injustice are "out beyond their skis."

Whitlock said that rational Americans understand our country's checkered history of inequality.

"Most countries, most governments and most societies make a lot of mistakes," he said. "America handles unfairness better."

He called the generalizations made by minorities against police officers "upsetting" because he knows many fine folks in blue.

"Most of the players are out beyond their skis," he said. "I don't think these guys are experts in this cause they're taking up."

Whitlock suggested NFL players use their wealth to invest in causes rather than using the weekly presentation of colors as their rallying point.
