Kellyanne Conway said she appreciated former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer's surprise cameo at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles last night.

At late night comic Stephen Colbert's cue, Spicer rolled out a podium and pronounced the crowd the "largest audience to witness an Emmys, period!"

Spicer's appearance showed a level of "introspection and good humor" that Hollywood often lacks, the counselor to the president told "Fox & Friends" on Monday.

"I think it's this culture of sameness," Conway said of the stars' many Trump burns.

"To what end?" she asked. "You're alienating at least 63 million Americans who supported this president last time, but you're alienating many more who want the president to succeed."

"You're showing the world that you're so easy with an insult about our leader," she concluded. "I think that's really unfortunate."
