Johnny Damon: 'If ESPN Turns Into a Political Arena, a Lot of People Won't Watch'
Former baseball star Johnny Damon advised ESPN to stay out of politics or many viewers will tune out.
Trump tweeted his thoughts on the matter this morning after the White House said Hill should be fired.
ESPN is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming). People are dumping it in RECORD numbers. Apologize for untruth!

Damon, who appeared on Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" reality show, stumped for Trump during the 2016 campaign.
"I want to watch sports for sports. ... If ESPN turns into a political arena, I know a lot of people just won't watch," he said, likening it to MTV moving away from playing music videos.
He called the president a "great guy" who is doing a good job so far, but lamented that many in Washington are opposing his agenda "for the wrong reasons."
