Sean Hannity issued an ultimatum to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) - get tax reform done this year or resign.

Hannity blasted McConnell for saying that tax reform may have to wait until 2018 for a final vote.

He reminded McConnell of his critique of President Trump as "not [having] been in this line of work before."

"[Trump] had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen [when he made his campaign promises]," McConnell said in August.

"That's the swamp, that's the sewer," Hannity said.

He called McConnell's actions "pathetic, inexcusable and unacceptable."

"If you don't get the urgency to work for the American people and don't pass tax reform by the end of this year you need to resign," he said.
