Marcos Garza's Texas flag ended up coming in handy when he joined a crowd of supporters greeting President Trump in Texas earlier this week.

The 15-year-old happened to bring his state's flag with him on Tuesday and was amazed when a Secret Service member asked to borrow it.

The officer brought the flag over to the president, who waved it after addressing the crowd and offering his support to Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey's devastation.

"It was like a dream," an excited Garza told "Fox & Friends" Saturday.

"I think we should support the president during his run right now, because he kind of needs it."

Garza also asked for water and baby wipes for his hometown Houston, which is bearing the brunt of the flooding after the Category 4 hurricane.
