Rainfall from Hurricane Harvey Tops Four Feet in Some Houston Areas
Shepard Smith reported the astounding Hurricane Harvey rainfall totals recorded in and around Houston.
With more rain expected in the next few days, 43 inches of rain has already fallen in South Houston, 41.5 inches in Clear Lake City and 40.6 inches in Friendswood.
The National Weather Service announced today that a record was set in the Mary's Creek area, with nearly 50 inches of rain.

Catastrophic flooding is occurring in the city after the hurricane pounded the Texas coast beginning on Friday night.
Officials are becoming increasingly concerned about levee breaches and rising water spilling over dams.
