The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee claimed victory against "white nationalists," tweeting a graphic of current and former White House officials Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, and Sebastian Gorka.

"Two white nationalists down. One to go. We can do this," the tweet read including a brown arm emoji.

Former White House Chief Strategist Bannon and former Deputy Assistant to the President Gorka left their White House posts this month. Both are connected with the far-right website Breitbart.

Senior Policy Adviser Stephen Miller worked as communications director for then-Sen. Jeff Sessions, who the mainstream media labeled a racist for his immigration policies.
