Radio talk show host David Webb charged Democratic leadership with "using the energy" of the violent anti-Trump group Antifa.

Democratic leadership will not come out strongly against Antifa because they are now in the leftist camp, no longer in the Democratic camp, Webb told "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday.

"Antifa reared its head in Charlottesville, Virginia earlier this month and clashed with a white nationalist rally that quickly turned deadly. On President Trump's inauguration day Antifa protested in the streets of Washington, D.C., burning cars and smashing windows.

They "never come with solutions" and "want to tear down society," Webb said.

"They're doing damage to the debate out there."

Over 268,000 have signed a petition asking the White House to designate Antifa a terrorist organization.

Webb said he would not go that far as to label them terrorists, but said they are "definitely anti-American," not just anti-Trump.

"Why give them the oxygen?" the radio host asked.
