Attorney General Jeff Sessions will respond to the criticism from President Trump tonight at 8:00pm ET in a "Tucker Carlson Tonight" exclusive.

Carlson will be broadcasting live from El Salvador, where Sessions is traveling as part of the administration's effort to crack down on the MS-13 gang.

Carlson will ask the attorney general about the fight against the brutal gang and get his response to the criticism directed at him by Trump in recent days.

So far, Sessions has said he will remain in his position despite those who have argued that Trump appeared to be trying to get him to resign.

"I am disappointed in the attorney general. He should not have recused himself," Trump said this week, referring to Sessions' decision to recuse himself from the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

In a monologue earlier this week, Carlson called out Trump for the "protracted rhetorical assault" on Sessions, arguing it was a mistake for the president to go after one of his earliest and most loyal supporters.

Don't miss the big interview, tonight at 8pm ET on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" and stay tuned for Tucker's special series next week on the hunt for MS-13.
