White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read a letter a young boy sent to President Trump.

At the daily press briefing, Huckabee Sanders said she would read the occasional letter sent to Trump by American children.

The boy, Dylan, said he was nine years old and considers Trump his favorite president.

"I had a birthday about you. The cake was the shape of your hat," Huckabee Sanders said, reading from the letter.

Dylan asked Trump's age, wealth and the size of the White House.

Huckabee Sanders said Trump is 71, is very rich, and that the White House is 55,000 square feet.

"I don't know why people don't like you," Dylan wrote, asking if the two could be "friends."

Huckabee Sanders said Dylan is welcome to visit Trump next time he is in Washington.
