Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) on Wednesday introduced an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump over his handling of the investigation into his 2016 campaign.

"The hope is that it triggers an intervention in the White House," Sherman told Tucker Carlson last night, adding that it is a "faint hope."

On "The Fox News Specialists" tonight, Eric Bolling said the Democrats are completely invested in the Trump-Russia collusion allegations.

"They're so into it, they've spent so much time, so much effort, so [many] breathless accusations on television that every little nugget, they continue to blow up," Bolling said.

He pointed out that there have been countless leaks about the Trump campaign, transition and administration, in addition to the various Russia probes, yet there's been no evidence of collusion.

"The Democrats have been wrong and wrong and wrong," he added. "We're on our tenth 'bombshell' revelation and none of them are panning out."
