The White House is calling out Democrats for obstructing President Trump's agenda, but some congressional Republicans are also standing in the president's way, according to Mark Steyn.

"There is obstruction - or at any rate, indifference - to the president's agenda from a lot of people in the Republican leadership," Steyn said on Fox Business Network today. "And that's the real problem here."

He pointed out that Republicans control the House, Senate and White House, yet they still haven't been able to follow through on tax reform or repealing and replacing ObamaCare.

"There's a limit to how you can blame it all on the Democrats," Steyn said.

He said House Speaker Paul Ryan, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republicans in Congress have to get on board with the president.

He added that Trump is a Republican commander-in-chief, so the Republican Party should be helping him implement his agenda.

"If they don't actually want to advance it against Democrat obstructionism, they will be punished for that next year," Steyn warned.
