JD Hayworth: Using Government Programs Your Whole Life 'Ain't Compassion, That's Slavery'
Radio talk host J.D. Hayworth says that "cradle to grave" government planning is not a sign of the government's compassion.
"That ain't compassion. That's slavery," the former Arizona congressman said on "Fox & Friends."
Hayworth commented on the Republican health care bill, saying socialized medicine would not work. Eventually, you run out of other people's money, he said, quoting Margaret Thatcher.
Congressional Democrats have used strong language to condemn Republicans attempts at a remedy for Obamacare,
"These cuts are blood money. People will die," said Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) on the Senate floor.
"If this legislation were to pass ... many thousands of our fellow Americans every single year will die," Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said.
Arizona has seen 116 percent increases on premiums, Hayworth reminded viewers.
"If the Democrats treated the Russians the way they do Republicans, we would have the greatest national security," he quipped.
