Hollywood director Josh Fox blasted President Trump and Mitch McConnell, calling them "terrorists" over the Senate version of the health care bill.

Fox tweeted Friday that the Obamacare replacement "sentences poor people to death."

His comments come just after actor Johnny Depp joked to an audience, "When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?"

This is not the first time the director of the Oscar-nominated documentary "Gasland" has made headlines for his controversial comments on U.S. policy.

Back in April Fox made headlines for arguing that instead of bombing ISIS, the United States should love them instead, and end terrorism that way.

Fox excoriated the administration, tweeting, "Atrocity. Murder. Abomination," after the Trump administration dropped the country's largest non-nuclear weapon on an Afghan ISIS tunnel complex.

He received backlash on Twitter for his comments.

"The Left can't keep its Trump hatred bottled up," Stuart Varney said in his monologue Friday. "It is so virulent it bursts out all over."

He suggested that Democratic leadership tell their followers to "knock it off" with the violent imagery linked to the president and stop creating a climate of violence.
