'How Do You Debate What You Don't Even Know?' Sliwa Blasts Dems, Repubs Health Care Secrecy
Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa blasted Democrats and Republicans for their secrecy on health care reform.
"All I want to do is know what's in the bill," he said of the Republican ObamaCare replacement.
Sliwa, chairman of Reform Party of New York State, said Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is doing the same thing then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) did when she passed ObamaCare.
He recalled how Pelosi chided Republicans and voters, saying the bill must be passed first before we see what is in it.
Now, Sliwa said, Ryan is doing exactly what his caucus criticized Pelosi for doing.
"How do you debate what you don't even know?" he asked.
He called health care reform the most important piece of legislation for everyday Americans.
"And we don't even get to see a good forensic debate about it?" he asked, adding that Washington wants to shove their new bill "down our throats."
"They're all swamp creatures," Eric Bolling said.
