Schlapp: WH Probe 'Going to Find Something'
American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp said it is likely that federal investigators will "find something" while probing the Trump White House.
"They're going to find something," he said.
"There's not 'nothing' to this, but there's nothing major to it," Schlapp said, adding that investigators won't find any evidence of collusion with Russia.
He also commented on Trump attorney Jay Sekulow, who had a heated exchange with Chris Wallace on Sunday.
Sekulow said Trump "is being investigated for taking the action that [Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein suggested] he take."
He later clarified that Trump is not a target of any investigation, but that there is a probe of the incident.
Schlapp, whose organization runs the annual CPAC conference in Oxon Hill, Md., said the latest anonymously-sourced report infers that Trump is a target.
The story reportedly said Trump may have obstructed justice by firing ex-FBI Director James Comey.
