Lou Dobbs said former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper compared the Trump-Russia probe to Watergate while speaking in Australia.

Dobbs said the comparison Clapper made during a speech in Canberra contradicted his sworn testimony back home.

"Clapper has admitted for months there is no evidence of collusion," Dobbs said on FBN.

Clapper told the Australian crowd that "Watergate pales... compared to what we're confronting now."

Dobbs said it showed Clapper's "laughably contradictory and uneven grasp of his own record."

"No one can help the [Democrats] now," he said. "No decent person should even try."
