Herridge: Terrorists Used Fake Suicide Vests to Guarantee Martyrdom
The London Bridge terror attackers used fake suicide vests to guarantee martyrdom, Catherine Herridge reported.
Khuram Shazad Butt, 27, Rachid Redouane, 30, and one more fellow terrorist killed seven and injured 49 when they barreled through crowds on Saturday.
The attackers strapped canisters strapped to their backs to look like suicide vests, Herridge said on "Shepard Smith Reporting."
The tactic is meant to intimidate victims as well as to guarantee martyrdom since law enforcement are trained to kill, not negotiate with suicide bombers.
The three were gunned down by police eight minutes after the first emergency call.
