On the heels of President Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey, Bret Baier will talk to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), tonight at 6:00pm ET

Ryan is in central Ohio today to hear from U.S. manufacturers and make the case for tax reform legislation. He'll answer questions in a "Special Report" exclusive on the Comey firing, the House's passage of a new health care bill last week, the tax reform push and his rapport with the president.

Bret Baier discussed the fallout from the unexpected dismissal of Comey this morning, naming former Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) and Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) as possible replacements for Comey.

Baier emphasized that questions will linger about how the decision to fire Comey came about, with the administration maintaining it was done after a recommendation from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

"I think there are skeptics up on Capitol Hill," he said, referring to Democrats who are accusing Trump of firing Comey due to the Russia investigation.
