In his opening monologue, Sean Hannity said congressional Republicans "rolled over" and allowed the Democrats to score a win on budget negotiations.

Hannity said President Trump is willing to fight for his agenda, but that the GOP is not as anxious to fight.

"Time for them to get their act together," he said. "They don't know they're in charge yet."

Hannity pointed out how President Obama told Republicans "elections have consequences" when Democrats controlled Congress and the White House.

He said Republicans should be doing the same thing now that they're in power. He called on the party to unite and fight for their agenda.

Hannity said the GOP is "punting" until this budget deal expires in September, which will give Democrats time to prepare another strong argument in negotiations.
