During his time in office, former President Barack Obama was tough on the financial industry, including calling Wall Street bankers "fat cats." Now, he's likely thanking them for a huge payday.

Obama reportedly agreed to give a speech to Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald LP, for which he will be paid $400,000.

On "Outnumbered" today, Meghan McCain said she would love to see how some on the far-left are reacting to Obama's apparent about-face on Wall Street.

"I need a live steadicam and I need some Jack Daniels and popcorn to watch Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren's reaction when they find out 'St. Obama' is getting dirty Wall Street money," McCain said. "The same thing they flayed Hillary for throughout the election for doing, Obama's doing."

She said she's curious to see if progressives are hypocrites and remain silent on Obama's lucrative speech.

"The fact that he's like every capitalist ex-president, it's got to be a little dig for some people," McCain said.

Harris Faulkner said this also raises questions about the former president's current role in the Democratic Party.

"Is he still de facto the head?" Faulkner wondered. "If he is, then they're going to have to talk about these fees."

Watch the clip above, and see more reaction to what some are calling the "height of hypocrisy."
