Morgan said that as a Catholic he is concerned for Pope Francis, who will travel to Egypt in a few weeks.

He said the pope is ISIS' top target in their stated "war on the cross."

"ISIS couldn't be more transparent," he said of the attack, which focused on the church where the Coptics' pope was officiating.

"This ought to be dominating cable news," he said.

Morgan said that the American media seems not to care about the Egyptian attack as they did the terror strikes on Westminster Bridge and in Sweden.
