Fox News Channel announced today a new one-hour political talk show, "The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton," which will debut in May.

Hosted by Fox News contributor Steve Hilton, "The Next Revolution" will become a regular part of the weekend lineup on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET.

"This is just such a wonderful opportunity. I'm really excited to be doing it," Hilton said on "Outnumbered" Wednesday.

Originating from Fox News' Los Angeles studios, the program will primarily focus on the populist movement and its impact throughout America and the world.

Hilton said the show will have a slightly different feel, because it's coming from the West Coast and because it will have a "global focus."

The episodes will take an in-depth look at global news and feature a rotating panel of political experts, along with interviews with major newsmakers.

Hilton, formerly a top adviser to British Prime Minister David Cameron, joined Fox News as a contributor in 2016.
