Tiffany Trump accepted an invitation from Whoopi Goldberg to sit together at New York Fashion Week.

Declaring that politics should be left out of this event, "The View" co-host made the offer yesterday after President Trump's daughter was left sitting next to empty seats at a high-profile fashion show Monday night.

Trump announced later Wednesday that she'd "love to" sit with Whoopi.

A group of fashion magazine editors, including Elle's Nikki Ogunnaike, were reported to have protested when they realized the seating arrangement.

Photos of 23-year-old Trump sitting next to several empty seats quickly spread on social media.

Goldberg, a vocal critic of President Trump's policies, took issue with the decision by some at the event to shun the president's daughter.

"I'm supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don't know what's gonna happen, but I'm coming to sit with you!" she said.

Goldberg said Tiffany Trump was simply there to look at fashion, not to be involved with politics. She also hit out at the Elle editor, and others, for reportedly delaying the show while the last-minute seating changes were sorted out.

"For a magazine that says it's a a woman's magazine to do this?" said Goldberg, calling them "bad apples."
