Unfortunately, things are not getting any better for Jill Stein.

The former Green Party presidential candidate was blasted on social media Monday for a tweet seeming to blame Democrats for the confirmation of Betsy DeVos as education secretary.

One huge problem though: Not a single Senate Democrat voted for DeVos.

All 48 Senate Democrats and two Republicans voted against DeVos, setting up a historic tie-breaking vote from Vice President Mike Pence.

Stein tweeted a link to a Washington Post article about Pence and included the text, "Why would we have a tie on such an egregious nominee? Because Democrats serve corporate interests."

Social media certainly took notice of this error.
