In a video posted on Virgin's website, Branson and Obama are seen attempting their new sports, with Branson foilboarding and Obama kitesurfing. According to the video, Branson traveled 50 meters, while Obama covered 100 meters to win the contest.

According to Branson, Obama used to be a surfer but his security team banned him from doing so upon becoming president.
