On Monday, Daily Mail Editor-At-Large Piers Morgan told Tucker Carlson that there is a "war" between the Trump administration and the media is "dangerous".

Morgan said several outlets in the mainstream media have been determined to "take down" President Trump.

"You have a war between the media and the White House, the likes of which I've never seen before," he said, "It's pretty dangerous all around."

He called the New York Times' coverage of candidate Trump a "complete disgrace" and "in the tank for Hillary Clinton."

"I found that, as a journalist, pretty obscene to watch," he said.

Morgan compared the media's non-stop coverage of Trump during the campaign to assembling Frankenstein's monster.

Once he was built up in the primary to be so powerful against his opponents, they realized they had to "kill him off."
