President Donald Trump tweeted a congratulatory message to the New England Patriots after the team capped off a historic Super Bowl comeback.

The Patriots were down 28-3 to the Atlanta Falcons before rattling off 31 unanswered points en route to winning their fifth Super Bowl in franchise history.

Throughout his campaign trail, Trump repeatedly thanked Patriots owner Robert Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady for their support.
