Super Bowl LI is nearly upon us and one of the major story lines going into the big game has nothing to do with the matchup between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has come under fire for his friendship with President Donald Trump.

On "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight, Bill O'Reilly said that's because most members of the sports press are liberals.

Sportscaster Jim Gray said he doesn't know how most sportswriters voted, but he does know that Brady is loyal and will stand by his longtime friend.

"Just because he is friends with somebody and happens to like somebody doesn't necessarily mean that he agrees with the opinions or thoughts or everything that his friends are putting out," sportscaster Jim Gray said. "And that would apply to President Trump."

He pointed out that Trump was an outspoken critic of the NFL for going after Brady and the Patriots in the Deflategate controversy.

"Tom's a loyal, honorable guy, and he's not going to give up on Donald Trump, particularly after he defended him and has known him for so long."
