President Donald Trump's Senior Counselor Kellyanne Conway was a guest Thursday on "Fox & Friends" to address the leaks of private conversations between Trump and the leaders of Mexico and Australia.

She did not comment directly but said this will be "mischaracterized by the media." She said it will be "easier" for the media to cover the leaks rather than Trump's visit to honor a fallen Navy SEAL, his remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast or the swearing-in of new Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

She said the mischaracterization reinforces her point about the "presumptive negativity" surrounding Trump's Administration.

"The Democratic Party...we're seeing it unravel in front of our eyes and we're seeing it be revealed in front of our eyes," Conway said. "A bunch of crybabies who say they're going to oppose Supreme Court nominees before they even know the person's name and his academic credentials and impeccable judicial record."

She also noted the Democrats holding up Cabinet nominees, saying this is the longest in modern times the nation has gone without a secretary of the Treasury.

"This obstinance and obstruction is the modern Democratic Party, and I think it's going to cost them because they're hysterical about everything now. ... Everything makes them cry and scream," she said.
