Critics Bash ESPN's Sage Steele for Instagram Post on LAX Airport Protests
ESPN's Sage Steele has come under fire for her Instagram post concerning protests at LAX Airport over President Donald Trump's immigration executive order.
Steele shared the above post Sunday in which she commented on the protesters disrupting airport service to the point where she and a number of other people missed flights after having to walk two miles to reach their gate.
"I love witnessing people exercise their right to protest! But it saddened me to see the joy on their faces knowing that they were successful in disrupting so many people's travel plans," she wrote.
Social media users were quick to criticize Steele for her post, with many alluding to notable historic protests.
Sage Steele would have told Dr. Martin Luther King that she wasnt able to catch a cab because his March in Selma disrupted cab service

Dear Sage Steele,
Show me a protest that didn't "disrupt" anyone's day, and I'll show you one that didn't matter.

Sage steele is the perfect example of what is destroying our culture. Selfishness over selflessness. Personal gain over the public good

Come on, Sage Steele. We all know to show up two hours before flights in case of traffic, TSA, or people desperate to save their families.

All good! But just bc someone has a different opinion, doesn't mean they're "the worst". Unless, of course, only YOUR opinion is allowed https://t.co/iiZXuD4Ne2
