Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested early Thursday morning for his involvement in a brawl outside his anti-Donald Trump live-stream protest in New York City.

Police said LaBeouf ripped the scarf off an unidentified 25-year-old man, pushed him to the ground and scratched his face. He faces a misdemeanor assault charge.

LaBeouf was released several hours later.

The protest, in which people chant "He will not divide us" in front of a stationary camera, was set up on the morning of Trump's inauguration.

The 24-hour-a-day live-stream takes place at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, N.Y. According to the website, the live-stream will be set up for the next four years.
