Manziel spokeswoman Denise Michaels explained the reasoning for "Johnny Football" to delete his account to ESPN.com.

Manziel said recently that he is attempting a comeback to the NFL. The former Heisman Trophy winner has not played in a game since the 2015 season.

He shared the following post on Instagram Sunday confirming his desire to return to the league.

For what it's worth, back when Manziel was a highly touted NFL draft prospect, Trump was vocal on Twitter about his support for the quarterback.
