Former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina criticized the thousands-strong women's march on Washington, D.C., this weekend for not welcoming pro-life women to participate.

"Sadly, pro-life women were not welcome at this march," she said, "Apparently they don't believe in a right to choose what she is going to believe."

Fiorina said she agreed with the premise of the demonstration, that "women's rights are human rights" but said the march was largely a protest against President Trump.

She said protesters were unable to celebrate the process of a democratic election and the institution of the presidency, choosing instead to demonstrate against Trump's inauguration.

"They ought to wait and see [how Trump governs]," Fiorina said.
